In early August 2020, travel-friendly clothing brand Bluffworks launched a Kickstarter campaign for the BluffCube Smarter Compression Packing Cube.

For those of you unfamiliar with the brand, check out a couple of my reviews:

Overall, I’d say that the company makes high-quality, comfortable gear made for your travels and adventures. Continue reading Check Out The Bluffworks BluffCube Packing Cube On Kickstarter!

Clothing Arts, Makers of Best Travel Pants on Kickstarter w/ Exciting New Product!

Clothing Arts

In the middle of 2014 I reviewed a product that I’d consider to be the best travel pants ever. The pants that I am talking about are made by Clothing Arts and are called the Pick Pocket Proof Adventure Travel Pants.

These pants go on every trip that we take. If I’m not wearing them, then odds are pretty high that I’m wearing (in warmer weather) a pair of Clothing Arts shorts. (I prefer their Adventure Travel Shorts but the Business Travel Shorts are an excellent choice too.)

When I found out that the company had an exciting, new product available on Kickstarter, I couldn’t wait to take a look. Continue reading Clothing Arts, Makers of Best Travel Pants on Kickstarter w/ Exciting New Product!

I find Kickstarter and other crowd-funding sites to be really interesting and a great way for innovators and creators to bring their ideas to market. However, I can’t say that I’ve backed a campaign.

A new carry-on just became the most funded luggage ever on Kickstarter, blowing away its intended funding goal. Continue reading The Most Funded Luggage Ever on Kickstarter

How would you like to help “start a dialogue between the people of the U.S. and DPRK?”

The DPRK, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea aka North Korea is very high on my list of countries to visit in the future.

One of the largest providers of trips to North Korea, Uri Tours has started a “Kickstarter campaign to encourage communication between the people of the United States and North Korea via postcards“. Continue reading Connect With North Korea Through Kickstarter

This has to be filed under the totally weird and bizarre categories…

The founder of Alien Fresh Jerky (can’t say I’ve heard of it before) has grand plans for Baker California.

Luis Ramallo is looking for help to raise funds ($175,000 to be exact) through Kickstarter for his plan. He wants to open a UFO hotel in Baker, a town in California between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Continue reading Kickstarter Campaign For A Bizarre Hotel

A Helpful Travel Item Gets Even Better

A little over a year back I wrote a review of the Hoboroll, “a luggage organizer that provides compression of items as well as multiple storage compartments”.

I found the Hoboroll to be very useful when it came to packing for a short weekend trip. With relatively small compartments I found it hard to fit a bunch of my shirt into one. Because my clothes are pretty bulky, I found it to be of little use to me. However, when it came to Lucas this is where the Hoboroll excelled. We could fit just about all of his things into the Hoboroll in an organized way for a 10-12 day trip. Continue reading A Helpful Travel Item Gets Even Better
