Today is the last day of our trip to the Middle East Gulf States. It’s been a really great trip but I think that its safe to say that Kim, Lucas and I have seen enough of their forts and shopping malls! (We did see lots of other interesting things too…)
During the trip we visited 4 countries including 5 of the 7 United Arab Emirates. (I had previously been to Dubai in 2009 so I visited 3 new countries during the trip.)
I haven’t had much time to follow-up with what’s going on in the world of miles & points but I did apply for the Amex Platinum 100K offer for Kim. I am hoping that she gets approved since the application was pending…
How has the week gone for you in terms of miles, points and travel?
Now it’s time to take a look back at some of this past week’s posts in a recap that I like to call The Rehash!
I’ve tried using Boingo during my current trip a bunch of times but haven’t had much luck using the service. Here is a reminder for SPG Amex cardholders to claim your free Boingo membership. (I’ll be calling customer service when I get home to see what the problem is.)
Here’s a list of the strangest law in each US state.
I need to take Lucas here, hopefully soon! Thomas the Train Theme Park opens in US.
I’d love to know how this was even possible. Pepper spray used on JetBlue flight.
A reminder to be nice to flight attendants… Flight attendants ask you to stop doing this.
There weren’t a ton of details about what happened but an Uber driver was accused of rape.
That’s all I’ve got! Hope you all have a great week…
