The Michael W Travels family is excited for our upcoming trip! We’ll be leaving on Friday night, heading to Greece and Cyprus! This will be our first time to both countries, except for Kim who visited Greece years back.

I was happy to find out that I was approved for my first new credit card of 2018. An approval letter came in the mail a couple of weeks after I applied and then the card arrived a couple of days later. It’s getting way too hard to find cards and get approved these days.

Kim and I got a lot done with the plans for our upcoming trip. We’ll be staying at an Airbnb for a few days which will save us a lot of money! Last Thursday was a very special day for us here at Michael W Travels. Our little man Lucas turned 6 years old!

This year, Lucas wanted to go away for his birthday. While we didn’t have time to fly somewhere, we drove (less than two hours from home) to a Legoland Discovery Center outside of Philadelphia. Lucas loves Legos and he had a great time at the Discovery Center!

Other than booking last minute hotels for our short trip, we’ve been thinking about an itinerary for our upcoming trip over February break. In one week we’ll be heading off on our last trip of 2017. All we have left to do is to figure out our rental car and boy are they pricey.

I’m currently in the middle of planning our upcoming winter trip but I’m also thinking further ahead to the summer.

I’m hoping we’ll get to visit a couple of new regions that I’ve wanted to explore for quite some time. I was close to booking a flight but I still need to do further research to see how bold we should get. (Time is always a factor which could ruin any great plan!)
