Why Airports Have Carpet, Hotel Charges $350 For Negative Reviews, Bourdain Market Will NOT Open in NYC, Boeing 747 Party Plane & More- The Rehash!

rehashI hope that all of you who celebrate had a nice Christmas holiday.

Yesterday, the Michael W Travels family flew to our last trip destination of 2017. While I hoped to leave the country, I couldn’t find any good deals. Instead, we’re visiting a city/ area I’ve long wanted to check out- Austin, Texas. We’ll also be doing some day trips to areas not too far away.

How has your week gone when it comes to miles, points and travel?

Now it’s time to take a look back at some of this past week’s posts in a recap that I like to call, The Rehash!

I hope that you got some nice holiday gifts. Find out about an awesome aviation-related Scooby Doo gift for kids. Lucas really loved this!

Have you ever wonder why airports have carpet? It’s actually an interesting topic…

This is hard to believe but a hotel charged customers $350 for posting negative reviews. This can’t be legal and now the former hotel owner is being investigated.

The Ethics commissioner found that Canadian PM Justin Trudeau got unethical trip perks. Did he take advantage of his position or just get some benefits from a long- time family friend. Tough call here.

Check out my Review: Our Conrad New York “Santa Sleigh Ride”. This was a fun activity that we all enjoyed!

I’m definitely disappointed about this. Anthony Bourdain Market in NYC will not open. I was looking forward to checking out this market when it opened. Oh well…

This is really cool. Did you hear about the Boeing 747 party plane? This could be one of the most awesome venues out there.

That’s all I’ve got.
