Now that April is here, I need to start finalizing plans for my trip which is coming up at the end of the month. It looks like this will be a good opportunity to use my Club Carlson Free-Night Certificates.

My Barclays JetBlue card arrived recently. The spend is already completed so I’ll be looking out for the bonus points to post to my account. Last week was an interesting one for me when it came to using my American Airlines miles. I had to cancel an award booking for a trip that I was really looking forward to but ended up booking a trip in business class for a different one! (More on that another time…)

My Chase United credit card finally arrived. It took close to two weeks to get here. It won’t be hard to complete the spend since I need to pay for Lucas’s school at the end of the week. (FYI- I’m still waiting to receive my new JetBlue Barclaycard.)

Kim and I were invited for a visit to the Mount Airy Casino Resort in the Poconos (Pennsylvania) this past weekend. Keep an eye out for an upcoming review. It’s been a busy week over here with some good news on the credit card application front.

I’ve also been trying to figure out what to do with the upcoming American Airlines devaluation. Considering Kim, Lucas and I tend to usually fly coach, the upcoming changes aren’t such a big deal to us. However, I’ve been debating whether or not I should get in one last premium cabin award booking!
