My Southwest Companion Pass expires at the end of this year so I’m trying to figure out a way (time is an issue) to use up most of my points. I’m currently considering a couple of trips which would probably use up a good amount of them.

Now that I’m done with the minimum spend on my newest credit card, I’m trying to decide on what to apply for next. Since we’re now into fall, it’s time to seriously start considering some winter travel options.

I’m thinking about a quick domestic trip in a few weeks from now since I still have some Southwest Rapid Rewards points to burn. As for winter break, that is a tough one. I’m almost done completing the minimum spend required to earn the bonus on my newest credit card. This means I have a decision to make soon.

Do I try to get approved for the Chase Sapphire Reserve at a bank branch or just apply for Kim and hope that she gets approved online? I’m leaning towards just applying for Kim since I’d rather not take the time out at the moment to head to a Chase bank.
