On August 30, 2016 the Michael W Travels family got a big surprise. Theo couldn’t wait to meet his family, arriving 5 weeks early.
It was definitely a bit scary at first. Theo had to spend some time in the NICU, although not nearly as long as what we were originally told. After six nights, Theo came home and got to meet big brother Lucas.
Boy what a difference a year makes.

Earlier today I wrote about a very nice birthday message from Lufthansa. While the airline didn’t shower me with any gifts like free miles or a First Class Terminal Duck, their message still brought a smile to my face!

I didn’t have much time to celebrate or reflect on the 2nd birthday/ anniversary of the blog on Sunday. Kim, Lucas and I had a busy day taking part in openhousenewyork- visiting the TWA Flight Center and then went to visit some friends.
