A Visit To Armenia’s Stonehenge, Zorats Karer

stonehengeA lot of mystery surrounds Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in England.

The site consists of burial mounds and massive standing stones set up in a ring. Stonehenge is one of the most famous pre-historic monuments built around 2500 BC.

During our summer trip to six former Soviet states, we ended our journey in Armenia.

While visiting Armenia, we hired a guide & driver to take us to the unrecognized republic of Nagorno- Karabakh. (More on that another time.) Anthony Bourdain Banned From Entering Azerbaijan

The new season of the Anthony Bourdain show Parts Unknown is half way through. He still has some interesting destinations coming up over the next month.

Anthony Bourdain isn’t afraid to share his opinions on his show and in life. My guess is that he probably has a hard time following the rules.
