The Michael W Travels family recently stayed at the Kimpton Monaco Philadelphia thanks to an IHG Anniversary Free Night.
When we checked in, I gave the Kimpton Social Password. Due to this, we ordered room service at a hotel for the first time ever. We also received a jerky IHG Rewards Club elite benefit.

During our recent visit to Philadelphia, we stayed at Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco.
I wasn’t about to pay the hotel’s ridiculous $50 per night parking fee. Through the site BestParking.com, I was able to find an outdoor lot which cost a reasonable $15 for 24 hours.

In July 2014, the Michael W Travels family visited Diggerland, an awesome construction theme park located in West Berlin, NJ.
At the time of our visit, Lucas was 2.5 years old. He was too small to drive any vehicles on his own but still had a great time. He hasn’t forgotten about Diggerland and has asked if we could visit again quite a few times.

On Thursday night the Michael W Travels family flew to Portugal on Royal Air Maroc.
The first leg of our flight was from New York’s JFK Airport to Casablanca on the Dreamliner. Upon check- in (at JFK), we were assigned some of our least favorite airplane seats. Over February break, the Michael W Travels family headed to Greece and Cyprus.
While we rarely dine at McDonald’s at home, we had to pay a visit to the fast food chain in each country.

During our final day in Greece, the Michael W Travels family ended our day with a visit to the Acropolis Museum in Athens.
The museum was a fitting end to our short visit to the country. We visited lots of ancient sites as well as the Acropolis the day before.

Last Friday the Michael W Travels family flew to Athens, Greece with Lufthansa. We then caught a late- night flight to Larnaca, Cyprus.
