Last weekend didn’t have much to do with travel but it did have a lot to do with pizza!
Legendary Brooklyn pizzeria Totonno’s, open since 1921 closed due to COVID back in 2020. While they haven’t reopened for dine in, we were able to order a pie for delivery. This was our first taste of the shop in over two years.
We also stopped by a shop which recently closed but ended up reopening again. Philomena’s (in Sunnyside, Queens) make what I consider to be the best Sicilian pizza in NYC. It was awesome to have it again!
