Shake Shack is my favorite fast-casual burger chain out there.
From time to time they offer special menu items. The items can be offered at just a couple of locations or at all of them in the US. Last March, we enjoyed Shack Shack X Pat LaFrieda Steak Frites.
We’ve also tried Shake Shack in international destinations like the United Arab Emirates and in South Korea. (Check out my review of one of the South Korea locations here.
For a limited time, Shake Shacks in the United States will be offering items that were a big hit at their restaurants in South Korea!
The restaurants will be offering Korean-Style Fried Chick’n! The sandwich has a Gochujang -glazed crispy chicken breast over white kimchi slaw featuring Choi’s Kimchi.
You can also order Korean Gochujang Chick’N Bites and Korean Gochujang Fries. Both of these items are served with gochujang mayo dipping sauce.
A Black Sugar Vanilla Shake with toasty-caramel black sugar will also be available to pair with your Korea-inspired meal!
When I heard about this menu, I was pretty excited. Kim and I love gochujang but we hope Shake Shack’s version isn’t overly spicy! We told Lucas about the menu and he is also excited to give it a try which we hope to do this weekend.
