We just got back from our summer trip to Africa!

We’re a little over half way done with our trip to Africa. This is our first time visiting the continent with kids and it’s been an awesome experience.
So far, we’ve visited Lesotho, Eswatini, drove through South Africa and are finishing up our time in Zimbabwe. Tomorrow, we’ll be heading to Zambia!

Our first stop after a night in Johannesburg was Lesotho. We’ll be here for another day before heading to Eswatini! Over the weekend, we went on a pizza tour around Brooklyn with some friends from out of town.
Besides a stop at a pop-up for Slice Out Hunger, none of the pizza stops were new for us. Regardless, it was a tasty day of pizza eating and fun for our friends to try out some awesome Brooklyn pizzerias! Over the weekend we’ll be heading back to Philadelphia. Hotel prices are very high and there wasn’t much award availability so I used another credit card perk to help cover our stay.

Earlier in the day, we got back from our short trip to Ecuador.
We lost a day of our trip due to a Jetblue flight delay but we still made the best of our time. At some point, we’ll definitely head back to the country so we can finally visit the Galapagos.
