Last weekend, we had what I’d consider a touristy day in the city.
We participated in Smithsonian Mag’s Museum Day, getting to visit the AKC Museum of the Dog for free! We then walked downtown and wandered around the very busy Feast of San Gennaro. We usually avoid this event but it was fun with lots of tasty food options. It’s a little early but we’re already thinking about where to go over winter break. However, we have one big problem. Lucas and Theo’s passports are expiring soon and we need to apply for new ones for them.
While this doesn’t sound like a big deal, there’s been a delay on getting passport renewed. We plan to get the applications out this weekend and pay the rush fee. Yesterday we flew home from Croatia, ending our month-long trip around the Balkans.
Getting a COVID test in Split was a pretty simple process and cost only (around) $11 per person. Our flight home on United from Dubrovnik was pretty comfortable. The food was decent enough and there was an excellent movie selection. I call that a win!
