Hard Rock Hotel has locations all over the world although I wouldn’t call it a big hotel brand. (They currently have 22 hotels.) However, they seem to be expanding quite a bit with a bunch of new locations in the works.

Tomorrow, November 9 marks the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
1989 saw the reunification of friends and families divided by concrete walls and barbed wire for close to 30 years when the wall came down.
Kim, Lucas and I visited the Berlin twice in recent years and really enjoyed the city. What’s left of the wall today is essentially mini-museums which each tell a story. (At times you might need a bit of an imagination to think about what the city/ country must’ve been like while divided when walking by the wall segments.) Back in September 2013, Kim, Lucas and I headed to Germany for the main purpose of attending Oktoberfest. Rather than just go for the festival, we started out in Berlin, a city that I we really enjoyed checking out.
When I think of Berlin, the first thing that comes to mind is the Berlin Wall. Although it divided the city for close to 30 years, the remaining segments have been (mostly) turned into works of art. I didn’t get to see the Berlin Wall when I visited Germany but got to see a section of it in downtown Las Vegas. The Main Street Station Casino has a section of the wall in one of the mens bathroom with urinals attached to it.
It was fun searching for the bathroom where the wall was located and now I can say that I got to pee on the Berlin Wall!
