We’re now less than a week away from heading off on our next trip. This will be Theo’s first international trip which is pretty exciting. For seasoned traveler Lucas, it will be his 33rd country!

This weekend we stayed at The Warwick Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. The property was formerly the Radisson Blu Warwick. This was our final Club Carlson stay booked with the 2nd night free benefit. It sure felt like the end of an era for hotel bookings although we booked way back in May 2015.

We spent this past weekend in Washington, DC at the third Boarding Area Conference aka BAcon. It was a busy weekend but I wish that I had at least an extra day to spend a little time wandering around the area.
Theo got to fly on his second trip while Lucas sat this one out.
The delays coming and going into LaGuardia are beyond awful. On Wednesday, August 24 I headed to Boston with my brother to fulfill the terms of a promotion to earn 75,000 JetBlue Points.
The cost for the flight was a very reasonable $96.20 to fly roundtrip from Newark Airport. When booking the flight, there was an important decision to make- do we fly directly back and forth or spend some time in the area?

I have my final summer flight coming up in the middle of this week and it will defintely be the shortest trip I’ve ever taken.
With all of my current credit card’s minimum spends reached I applied for a new card last week which I was approved for after calling in! Once that arrives, I’ll be working on earning the bonus. I’m also thinking of applying for the new Chase Sapphire Reserve (like many of you probably are too) when it comes out.
