With our spring break finally here, (we’re leaving a couple of days early) it’s time to head off on one of our bigger trips of the year. I’d also consider it one of our more ambitious destinations to visit with a toddler.

When selecting where to go this time around we knew wanted  to head back to Asia but had no clear-cut destination in mind. Continue reading Pardon the Interruption, We’re Heading to Myanmar (Burma)

Traffic Jam- Yelapa, Mexico

During our trip to Puerto Vallarta we took a boat trip which made two stops. The first stop was for some snorkeling but the main draw of the trip was to visit a fishing village only accessible by boat, Yelapa.

When we arrived close to the village, it looked pretty interesting. We were given two choices, hang out and relax on the beach or go for a hike around the area.

I think many of you can figure out which option I went with. Continue reading Traffic Jam- Yelapa, Mexico

Visiting the 6th Smallest Country In the World… Liechtenstein

Liechtenstein Tourism

Back in November 2013 when the Wideroe mistake fares popped up we booked three flights to Europe at amazing prices. For our first trip, we headed to Oslo. Our other 2 flights were booked for ridiculously low prices to Milan. While we didn’t plan to spend much time in Milan, we booked immediately leaving the planning to be determined once we were officially ticketed and going on the trips.

For our second trip, we decided to do things a bit differently. We did a lot of research and came up with A Quick Euro-Roadtrip where we visited 3 Countries In 4.5 Days.

During our Quick Euro-Roadtrip, I finally go to visit a country that I’ve long wanted to step foot in- Liechtenstein! Continue reading Visiting the 6th Smallest Country In the World… Liechtenstein

Flight cancellations…

Last year we got stuck in Oslo, this year it was Orlando’s turn. What’s up with these snowstorms hitting NYC in January!

Our flight was supposed to take off from Orlando just before 7:00PM (on Super Bowl Sunday) but it got cancelled due to a storm that was supposed to hit the NYC area that evening. Continue reading What Did A Flight Cancellation Cost Us?

America’s Oldest Residential Street

elfreth's alley

While thinking about our visit to one of the narrowest streets in Europe recently, it made me think of another interesting street we visited in the past.

During one of our many trips to Philadelphia, we took a stroll down another interesting street. I couldn’t remember what distinction it had, whether it was one of the narrowest in the US or oldest. I decided to pull up a few photos from the visit and then do a quick read into it. Continue reading America’s Oldest Residential Street
