We had a very productive weekend related to travel.
I was able to book a flight for winter break (details below) using some British Airways Avios. I also used a couple of hotel free nights for the trip and plan to use more!

Time Out recently released their list of the 49 Coolest Neighborhoods in the World.
The list’s “result was based on a survey of over 27,000 international city dwellers“, according to TONY.
I expected to see at least one neighborhood in NYC on the list. However, I didn’t think that it would be in Manhattan! Last weekend, we had what I’d consider a touristy day in the city.
We participated in Smithsonian Mag’s Museum Day, getting to visit the AKC Museum of the Dog for free! We then walked downtown and wandered around the very busy Feast of San Gennaro. We usually avoid this event but it was fun with lots of tasty food options. It’s a little early but we’re already thinking about where to go over winter break. However, we have one big problem. Lucas and Theo’s passports are expiring soon and we need to apply for new ones for them.
While this doesn’t sound like a big deal, there’s been a delay on getting passport renewed. We plan to get the applications out this weekend and pay the rush fee.
