Back in August, I wrote how Jollibee would be opening its first location in Brooklyn, NY.
I first spotted signage for the location in late March/ early April and pass this location on the way to and from work.
The initial opening date was supposed to be some time in September 2023 but that date has long passed. After much delay, Jollibee is set to open their Brooklyn location tomorrow, February 2 at 9:00AM!
Back in 2016, we first tried the popular Filipino fast food restaurant. Since then, its been a fast food favorite of ours.
After our first visit, a location opened in New York City offering a more limited menu. On the way to the NY Times Travel Show, Lucas and I stopped in to enjoy a meal of Chickenjoy and Jolly Spaghetti.
We’ve been back to the Queens location a bunch of times and have also stopped by a location in Jersey City where we tried their excellent chicken sandwich.
To celebrate the opening, Jollibee has some special offers for the first 100 customers each day who spend $25 or more.

While I’d love to make it and be one of the first 100 guests to visit this new location, work will get in the way of that idea. I’ll try to stop in on the way home. I also plan to try to visit early on Saturday to snag one of the beanies.
