Last week I wrote about a flight diverted to Shannon, Ireland when a pilot got sick. In early January a flight was diverted when a passenger smeared poop in the plane’s bathrooms!

As you all know flights can be diverted for a variety of reasons.

This past Wednesday a plane flying from Moscow to Cuba had to be diverted when “the Boeing 767 developed a fuel leak“, according to NJ.com.

Azur Air flight 555 landed at Atlantic City International Airport around 4:00 am with over 300 passengers. A replacement plane arrived in AC around 7:00 pm to take the passengers to their destination, Varadero, Cuba.

The passengers had to wait for the plane in a secure area in the airport where volunteers brought them food, water, cots and other forms of assistance. They were definitely lucky to receive some nice, Atlantic City hospitality!
