Jimmy Carter Shakes Hands w/ Plane Passengers, Global Entry in Penn Station, Lost in Paris Catacombs, Katz’s Deli Expansion, Suicide at Marriott Marquis Times Square & More- The Rehash!

With the annual fee soon coming up on my American Express Platinum card, I decided to apply for the Amex Blue Business card (which I was instantly approved for). The signup bonus isn’t huge but it buys me some time to decide what to do with my Membership Rewards points.

Planning for our summer trip wasn’t looking good but then I started finding award availability for various flights around the region we’ll be visiting. It’s been frustrating using American Airlines miles over the past year or so but for this trip, they seem to be coming up big!

How has your week gone when it comes to miles, points and travel?

Now its time to take a look back at some of this past week’s posts in a recap that I like to call, The Rehash!

This will be of interest to fans of the hit HBO show, there will be a Game of Thrones bar in Washington, D.C. for a limited time.

Scary stuff- A Private plane flying movie star Jennifer Lawrence made an emergency landing.

Former US President Jimmy Carter shook hands with passengers on a Delta flight.

What do you think? Can the Ritz Paris Traveler turn coach into biz class comfort?

For a limited time you can Enroll in Global Entry at NYC’s Penn Station.

Here is your chance to Win a Lufthansa First Class duck by sending at tweet.

This must’ve been scary- Teens lost in the Paris Catacombs for 3 days were rescued.

Check out my Review: Legendary Katz’s Deli of NYC Expands for the 1st time in 129 years.

Tragic: A man leaped to his death inside the Marriott Marquis in Times Square.

That’s all I’ve got for this week’s rehash! ‘Til next time.
