Kim, Lucas and I are currently traveling home from what’s been possibly our most frustrating trip ever! What should’ve been a quick hour and five-minute flight to Toronto became a cancelled flight, hours of waiting and another cancelled flight. We then had to fly the following morning which became early afternoon with more delays, giving us just a day and a half at our destination!
I guess weather happens but with just a light drizzle in the NYC area and poor communication with passengers, this led to lots of unhappy tavelers!
I say let it happen now rather than during a longer, more exciting trip. Hopefully we got rid of the bad travel karma for a while!
Otherwise, just before changes were announced to AAdvantage, I booked a flight for our spring trip using some of my miles!
