I’m not a big fan of drinking while flying. Here’s another reason why it’s not a good idea to get drunk during a flight…

A 32-year-old drunk woman tried to open the exit door during a flight and is being charged with interfering with the flight crew.

The incident took place on British Airways Flight 213 which was flying from London to Boston. The woman, Kamila Dolniak, a Polish citizen had to be restrained during the flight.

The flight ended up landing a half hour ahead of schedule at Boston’s Logan Airport.

CNBC mentions that bail was supposed to be set. If Dolniak couldn’t post bail, she’d “be placed in the custody of U.S. Customs and Border Protection pending her arraignment Wednesday“.

  1. Other than being drunk and disorderly, this is no big deal. There’s no way she could actually OPEN the door in flight.
