Public Beach Closed for King, Japan’s Free Wi-Fi, Family Booted Off JetBlue, United CEO: Extra Fees Staying, McD’s Nicaragua & More- The Rehash!

Rehash

Another week of the summer has quickly passed and there isn’t much new to report for myself in terms of miles, points and travel. The fun begins for us when we go away two weeks from today!

I haven’t been loading my REDcard much recently. Extra long lines at customer service have been a deterrant. I also had a negative experience over the weekend. More on that another time.

My newest credit card arrived so that means another 25,000 easy Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles.

Now its time to take a look at some of this past weeks posts in a recap that I like to call The Rehash!

There’s been outrage as a public beach closes on the French Riviera for Saudi king. I could see this both ways. It’s not fair to the locals and tourists in the area but a world leader’s security is also of importance…

Take a trip back in time with classic burgers at the All-American Drive-In.

Most of you probably know the answer but I still found this to be a good question. Can you link a credit card to 2 dining programs?

I still don’t get how this was even possible. Man gets past security, boards plane w/ out ticket.

Next time I’m in the area, I’d like to stop by… NYC’s Southwest Porch opens.

Free wi-fi in Japan. Kind of... This is pretty great news since I was surprised by the lack of wi-fi around the country during our visit.

You can do THIS in North Korea. Talk about an interesting way to visit this closed off country.

Some of you might know that like to visit McD’s when visiting new countries. McDonald’s Nicaragua impresses.

There is always two sides to a story. I’d still love to hear the flight attendant’s version of what went down:

I keep reading that airfare prices are falling but the United Airlines CEO says extra fees are here to stay.

Are these the Top 10 pizza restaurants in the US. I doubt they are although I’ve only tried the pizza at 5/10.

That’s all I’ve got! Hope you all have a great week…
