While screening luggage, TSA officers come across lots of crazy things.
Most of them are usually weapons like a knife hidden inside of an enchilada, a smartphone case knife and more (check out the links at the bottom of the post.) OK, maybe these kinds of things aren’t typically found during the average day.
Some of you might recall that a certain furry little friend also likes to fly. We had a squirrel catch a flight from Costa Rica to Houston recently!
What about this surprise…
A TSA officer at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in NYC was checking out a baggage claim alarm when they opened up a bag and found a big (maybe I should really write little) surprise.
The officer opened the bag and found a chihuahua inside. Talk about a crazy surprise.
So how did the dog get inside? While the owner was packing her suitcase the chihuahua must’ve jump in to get some rest.
According to Gothamist “TSA worked with the airline to locate the traveler and reunite her with her dog“. The owner surprised to learn of her dog being found inside of her luggage.
She sad that “the dog must have climbed into the suitcase and curled up in the clothing while she was packing for her trip“.
The woman then called her husband and he came to the airport to pick up the dog.
Crazy, right?
