TSA Finds Smartphone Case Knife At Boston Airport

a screenshot of a social media postI’ve been in the market for a new case for my iPhone but don’t think a new discovery by the TSA at Boston Logan Airport is for me.

The TSA Blog Team (@TSAGBlogTeam on Twitter) tweeted about the smartphone case and I couldn’t imagine what could possibly make it stand out.

Once I clicked on the Instagram link, I couldn’t believe what I saw.

#TSAcatch: This smartphone case was discovered at the Boston (#BOS) International Airport. Please remember, all knives are prohibited from being carried onto the cabin of an aircraft.

I wonder if this case was inspired by the Swiss Army knife!

What’s the craziest thing that you’ve heard the TSA discovered at an airport?

  1. So we’re at LAS and a woman comes up with a full sized aluminum baseball bat.

TSA agent: “Ma’am, you can’t bring that on the plane.”
    Woman: “Why not?”
    TSA: “Really?”
Woman: “My daughter said I could bring it on the plane:
TSA: “Is your daughter the head of homeland security?”
    Woman: “Uh, no.”
TSA: “Check it or leave it”
