Over the weekend the Michael W Travels Family took a very short trip to Buffalo, NY. It was freezing out but still a fun and interesting trip.

We’re closing in on our Spring Break trip which is just a little over one month away. It’s definitely time for Kim and I to get into serious planning mode!

The Michael W Travels Family recently got back from a quick visit to Ireland. We had a great time during our trip and would definitely like to head back in the future.

Next weekend we’ll be going on a very brief trip mainly in the name of food. We’ll be flying on JetBlue which Lucas is definitely excited for.

The Michael W Travels family headed off on our first international trip of 2017 and it’s been a lot of fun so far. We’re currently on a short visit to Ireland!

We flew to Europe on Iberia and I was a bit surprised by a few things about the airline. It was our first time flying with them and we were disappointed to learn that AA Gold status couldn’t even get us free seat selection. We also found the seats to be extremely uncomfortable, almost claustrophobic. The one good thing we encountered was a tasty meal! At the end of the week, the Michael W Travels family will be heading off to Europe for a quick visit. Our destination is a country that we’ve long wanted to visit.

Happy February to all… We’re less than two weeks away from our next trip. We’re looking forward to getting away although this will be a short visit. IMO- a short trip is better than no trip!

I’m thinking about applying for another credit card but I can’t decide on what to go for. With rules such as 5/24 and other things along those lines, it isn’t nearly as easy as it used to be. The Michael W Travels family stopped by the New York Times Travel Show over the weekend for a few hours. We had fun but there wasn’t anything overly exciting going on when we arrived. I haven’t gone to the industry day in a couple of years and would like to try to check it out next year.

Our next trip is fast approaching and after much debate, we finally finished trip planning by picking a hotel.

On New Years Day the Michael W Travels family got home from an awesome but short visit to Costa Rica. I started sharing some details about the trip over the past week and I still have more to come.

It was tough going back to work after our latest adventure but it’s nice to know that we’ll be heading off again in the middle of February. I definitely need to finish booking a very important detail for that trip soon.
