After completing the minimum spend on my newest credit card, I’m on the lookout for a new card or maybe I’ll just get Kim the Barclay Arrival card too. Our Spring Break trip is fast approaching. Besides flights, a ferry ride and one hotel night, we still need to figure out hotels for the rest of our trip. This shouldn’t be too difficult!

I have lots of hotel free nights expiring in coming months. I used my last uncapped IHG free night for a stay in NYC next month. More on that in a future post. Last week I mentioned how Kim and I each have some Wyndham points to spend before they expire. While we haven’t done anything about this yet, I’m hoping to book a two night stay in Philadelphia within the next few months.

I also just realized that my last uncapped IHG Free Night is expiring in the middle of May. This night is of little use on an upcoming trip so we might just book a night at a Kimpton property close to home in NYC. I’m trying to figure out the best way to use some expiring Wyndham points. Kim and I each have 15,000+ miles expiring so we each need to book one night or lose the points. We’ve been back for a little over a week from our President’s Week trip and now it’s time to start working out the details of our next little adventure.

Over Spring Break we’ll be heading to Argentina and Uruguay. Over President’s Week Break, the Michael W Travels family took a trip to Spain (Barcelona) and Andorra.

It was really great revisiting the first city I ever went to in Europe. We also had an excellent but short visit to Andorra. This tiny country has some fun things to see and do. We actually could’ve used another day there. I guess we could always go back some day.

We’re currently on our President’s week trip.

The trip started in Barcelona, which happens to be first city I ever visited in Europe. For Kim, Lucas and Theo, this is their first time in Spain! Today, we drove to Andorra, a small landlocked country in the Pyrenees Mountains.

This weekend, we’re heading off on our trip to Barcelona and Andorra!

Plans for that trip are done but that didn’t mean it wasn’t a good time to book flights for another trip. I found a sweet airfare deal for the end of the school year and we’ll finally be visiting Iceland!

We’re less than two weeks away from our upcoming trip!

I’ll be returning to the first city that I ever visited in Europe, Barcelona. This will be the first visit to the city (and country) for Kim, Lucas and Theo. I’ll also visit one new UN member state visit during our time away.
