Delta Tap The App To Win Giveaway (For iPad)

Delta is running the Tap the App Giveaway to spread the word about their new Fly Delta App for iPad. I downloaded the app and took a few minutes to check it out. The app looks really nice and has a bunch of cool, new features.

Some info from the Tap the App Delta page:

  • Fly Delta App: book and manage travel, enjoy entertainment and destination guides & explore with Glass Bottom Jet
  • Explore Destinations: spin the globe to discover destination info, fare specials and more
  • Glass Bottom Jet: explore what’s below while you’re flying high in the sky
Entering the contest is simple:
  1. Download the app for iPad
  2. Log in with your SkyMiles account during the giveaway up until July 31, 2013
  3. Make sure to log in every day to get the most chances possible to win
If you don’t have an iPad you can enter by mailing in an entry once per day. This sounds like a pain to me and not really worth the effort but if you’d like to do this find out more at the link below.

I have a couple of United Club passes that I no longer have a need for for due to one a couple of reason:

  1. I won’t be flying United before they expire
  2. Due to having the American Express Platinum card I can get into United clubs (with a guest) for free. My friends over at The Flight Deal pointed out that this is incorrect. I must’ve overlooked this since I haven’t flown United since last summer and I thought all major US airlines were covered. Next time I’ll be sure to read all of the terms & rules.
Since these passes are of no use to me I will be giving them away in a contest.

Luggage handle cover rolled up
The luggage handle cover is great for the top or side handle of a wheelie bag. It has some padding and can make your luggage easier to spot if you check your bags. I have one on Kim’s wheelie bag and it is much more comfortable to pick up the luggage when the cover is on.

In honor of the opening of Delta’s Terminal 4 (T4) at JFK Airport I wanted to do a little giveaway today.

While visiting Delta T4X, I was able to get a bunch of 10% off flight coupons and drink vouchers from the friendly staff. I was originally given one flight certificate and two drink vouchers. While chatting with the staff I decided to ask for a few extras to share with my readers. They were happy to oblige so here is the first giveaway.
