Before becoming a hotel, we loved visiting the TWA Flight Center during Open House NY.

We’ve been hoping to check out the TWA Hotel since it opened but the timing hasn’t been right.

The hotel has a variety of interesting amenities like a mini-food hall, rooftop pool, a Twister room and a bar within an airplane. You could even go ice skating on the runway!

The TWA Hotel is now be offering another fun runway activity- roller skating!

The hotel’s Roll-A-Rama at the Runway Rink is now open every weekend. While there, you can “take a spin on the tarmac around the hotel’s 1958 Lockheed Constellation “Connie” airplane,” according to twahotel.com.

The skating sessions each last 50 minutes and are reasonably priced. Admission costs $20 for adults and $16 for children under 12 years of age. The skate rental is included in the price.

The Roll-A-Rama is open Fridays from 4-8PM and Saturdays & Sundays from 12-8PM.

Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis and can not be purchased in advance. Make sure you bring your credit card since that’s the only payment method accepted to pay for the skate session.
