Chef, author and globetrotting TV star Anthony Bourdain tragically died around a year and a half back. Since then, many of his personal items were put up for auction. A scholarship was also started by the Culinary Institute of America in his name.
For fans looking for more from Anthony Bourdain, you’ll have one last chance!
Eater reports that “the travel guide that Anthony Bourdain had been working on before his death will be made available to the public this year.”
The book, called World Travel: An Irreverent Guide is an interesting project. It was started by Bourdain and was finished by his former assistant Laurie Woolever. She also happened to co-author his cookbook Appetites.
World Travel is a book about all things Anthony Bourdain loved related to travel including his “favorite places to visit, including advice on when to go, where to stay, and most importantly, what to eat once there,” according to Eater.
The book also includes info from friends, colleagues and family members.
World Travel goes on sale on October 13. Currently, it’s available for pre-order.
