Disney’s Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge park opens this week in Orlando, Florida. It’s been getting a ton of hype and Star Wars fanatics can’t wait to visit.

Disney parks tend to offer tons of collectibles and souvenirs. Typically, when you exit a ride, there’s a gift shop you need to pass through.

CNBC reports that, “the TSA is cracking down on one of its most collectible items — its $5 Coke bottles.”

With the opening of the new park, visitors will have tons of themed items to purchase. CNBC mentions that there will be over 1,000 items to choose from.

One of the cheapest items available will be the collectible soda bottles for Coke, Diet Coke and Sprite which look like thermal detonators from the Star Wars movies. (When I first saw a photo of the bottles, I thought that they totally looked like toy grenades.)

Due to the their likeness to explosives, the bottles are banned from flights by the TSA. The bottles cannot fly in your carry-on or checked bags.

So if you plan to visit Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge and purchase a very pricey $5 soda and plan to keep the bottle, your best bet is going to be to mail it home. (Great idea CNBC!)
