Fighter Jet Crashed Into Building In California, Pilot Ejected

A US military fighter jet crashed into a building in California yesterday.

The plane crashed “into a commercial building at March Air Reserve Base in Moreno Valley, California“, according to CBS News.

The pilot ejected from the downed plane and is currently being evaluated.

The US Air Force Reserve reported that five people were injured on the ground.

The fighter jet crash caused a fire in the warehouse which was “quickly extinguished by the building’s sprinkler system.”

The plane was on a training mission and was part of the 114th Fighter Wing which is located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The crash caused the California Highway Patrol to close southbound Interstate 215 due to concerns about potential explosions.
