Milwaukee Brewers leftfielder Ryan Braun forgot his passport and had to miss two exhibition games being played in Montreal.

Braun, a six- time All-Star, MVP and Rookie of the Year was supposed to join his team for the final two exhibition games before the season starts against the Blue Jays.

Sports Illustrated shares details that he “forgot his passport as the team left for Montreal, staying behind as the Brewers boarded a plane north, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Tom Haudricourt.”

He’ll catch up with his teammates back in Milwaukee when they play the St Louis Cardinals on March 28 for opening day.

USA Today mentions that some people on Twitter weren’t believing the excuse that Ryan Braun gave.

What do you think? Is Ryan Braun telling the truth or was he just being forgetful to avoid a visit to Montreal?
