A New NYC Attraction That I Have To See!

I’m always looking for things to see and do around the NYC area. This could be as simple as checking out a new restaurant or visiting a park with the kids.

If public or quirky art is something you like, then a new sculpture in NYC should be high on your list of things to see if you happen to find yourself in the area.

Gothamist recently had an article, sharing info about “NYC’s Greatest Sculpture: A 30- Foot Dalmatian Balancing A Real Taxi On Its Nose.”

The new sculpture will be on permanent display outside the soon-to-open NYU Langone Helen L. & Martin S. Kimmel Pavilion located at 34th Street and 1st Avenue.

This bizarre sculpture was created by sculptor Donald Lipski. It is bound to bring a smile to all that visit  NYU Langone Medical Center.

The sculpture should be added to sites like Roadside America and Atlas Obscura (although I’m not sure that a 30-foot tall dog will be really obscure in NYC).

Are you into quirky attractions and sculptures? If so, would you like to check out NYC’s new Dalmatian- Taxi sculpture?
