This week I started using the US Bank Altitude Reserve credit card. The card has a steep $400 annual fee but it’s offset by a $325 annual travel credit along with many other benefits.
For the first year, the Altitude Reserve is a great deal although I can’t see keeping it after that. The card has an interesting bonus category, 3X points with mobile wallet purchases so I just started using Apple Pay. Less than half of the businesses I’ve used the card at to date accept Apple Pay but it’s a pretty cool payment option which I might even start to use with other credit cards in the future.
How has you week gone when it comes to miles, points and travel?
Now it’s time to take a look back at some of this past week’s posts in a recap that I like to call, The Rehash!
I found it very interesting to read that Arlington, Texas cut bus service for Via ridesharing vans. I wonder if this plan will spread to other areas.
There’s a museum coming to NYC dedicated to eggs. I’m not sure that this is really a museum but it does sound like a fun exhibit to check out. It will also most likely be fun for taking photos.
Definitely an interesting choice for a place to give birth… A tourist had a water birth in the Red Sea.
Family vacations can be very pricey. This was not nice- Disney World hotels are adding a new fee. These kind of vacations don’t appeal to me and considering how pricey they can be, I’m glad.
Here is your chance to Enter to win a Lufthansa First Class duck.
McD’s might not be our first, second or third choice when dining out at home but we love checking them out when we travel. Find out what we tried at McDonald’s Greece.
I tried the monthly subscription SprezzaBox for their Delta Airlines box. Find out what was inside.
The TSA Instagram account lets us know if dead bugs can fly. If you ask me, the TSA has one of the funniest Instagram account related to travel.
Tragic news- A Cirque du Soleil acrobat died after falling during the show “Volta”.
That’s all I’ve got.
