US Customs and Border Protection

US Customs and Border Protection agents found $164,000 worth of cocaine on a man last week at JFK Airport.

WPIX11.com reports that US Custom and Border Protection said the cocaine was “busting out of his pants“.

The man was detained due to having a nervous demeanor and suspiciously tight clothing. (So much for being discrete…)

Juan Carlos  Galan Luperon, a US citizen was traveling from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to JFK when he “willingly presented himself for inspection“. Luperpon seemed nervous during the inspection.

Luperon was taken into a private search room where US Customs and Border Protection agents found a total of 10 pounds of cocaine worth $164,000 taped to his legs. He was then turned over to Homeland Security where he faces federal narcotics smuggling charges.
