Club Carlson offers a lot of choices when it comes to hotel brands. They have the high-end Quorvus Collection followed by Radisson Blu. There’s also Radisson, Park Inn, Park Plaza and Country Inns & Suites.
We can now add one more with the opening of the first Radisson RED in Brussels!
With Radisson RED, Club Carlson is targeting a new crowd- millenials.
The new property has 149 studios which range in size from king, two twin or two queen beds. Some rooms are studio suites which have separate bedrooms.
The rooms also have 55″ TVs with sound bars, a picnic table, oversized windows and multi-functional furniture.
Radisson REDs also feature a couple of food options. There’s the OUIBar + KTCHN featuring “seasonal local produce” or street food from the Van Rouge Food Truck.
USA Today mentions that “Another 14 hotels are in development. By 2020, Rezidor plans to have 60 Radisson REDs“.
Based on a description from USA Today, hotel employees sounds like they could also belong at an Apple Store. The employees, called “RED Creatives were recruited though social media… They will greet guests while carrying tablets to help facilitate check-in“.
You can also check-in & out using the RED app as well as order food and drink through it too.
Overall, Radisson REDs sound like really nice stylish, functional and modern hotels. Will the guests come? I’d think so.
Radisson RED seems to be reasonably priced. I searched a random Friday night and rates for two adults started at 99€ per night or 50,000 Club Carlson Gold points.

PT- Awesome! I’d love to hear what RED is like.
Ang- Prob would’ve been nice to check it out, especially since it is so new!
Darn! I’m at Radisson Blu Royal! Too bad I can’t change my reservations to this one. It sounds like it’ll be nice and hip, maybe even a W/Andaz feel and look.
Will be staying there in three weeks. So far social media interaction has been great. E-mail not so much.
