I finally got around to purchasing Airbnb gift cards to trigger the Amex Offers deal of $50 off $100 on two of my cards. However, I never received an e-mail confirming that I used it. I logged into my Amex account and saw that the charges posted as something other than Airbnb.
A few days later it switched to say Airbnb. I decided to call up Amex and I was told that they put a note in and manually put in that I completed the offer. I should have my $50 credits within 3-5 days.
I’ve been working towards finishing the spend to earn the bonus offer on my newest credit card- a card which was the longest application process I ever went through. The bonus and other perks should make it worth it in the end.
