Oktoberfest Attendance, Southwest Mocks Airlines, Zombies On A Plane, Radisson Blu Doha & More- The Rehash!

Rehash

Kim, Lucas and I spent the weekend in Philadelphia at the Radisson Blu Warwick. We had a fun time, visiting lots of kid-friendly places and also ate lots of tasty but unhealthy food!

I was happy to get approved recently for the Citi Thank You card, which should be arriving in the mail any day now. I’m also waiting to see if I get approved for another card that was blogged about by Rene’s Points. The offer died fast but I’ve spoken to the bank and my application is being reviewed.

I hope that your week has gone well, especially when it comes to travel, miles and points.

And now it’s time to take a look back at some of this past week’s posts in a recap that I like to call, The Rehash!

One of my favorite events/ festivals, Oktoberfest saw attendance fall this year, should you attend?

This year you can Visit LaGuardia Airport’s Marine Air Terminal during Open House New York.

Can you eat food from every country in the world in NYC? One man is trying to which I think is a really cool idea.

If you’re heading to Qatar, check out my Hotel Review: Radisson Blu Doha.

The sory of a strange e-mail: You did not win an all expenses paid trip to Paris.

Southwest mocks airline fees, giving away 3 $250 gift cards. Southwest does a good job in a fun way showing why they are liked by many for their customer service and policies.

I’ll be watching this! Zombies on a plane! Fear the Walking Dead Flight 462.

We had a great time in Grenada. Find out what we booked to make it happen. Trip Planning: $249.30 + 158,250 Miles & Points= Trip for 3 to Grenada.

It’s been a while since I found one of these. Ridiculous Street Signs #20: In Oman, for payphone fault, please call… If you have any funny signs that you’ve come across and would like to share, you can e-mail them to michaelwtravels@gmail.com.

That’s all I’ve got! Hope you all have a great week…
