Wouldn’t it be nice to rent out a celebrity’s home?

Last summer I wrote about a list of celebrity homes that are available to rent. Some of them are even available to book through Airbnb. While Leonardo DiCaprio might not live on a private island that he bought in 2005, he is turning it into an eco-resort.

The most famous home owned by a celebrity which is available to rent has got to be Richard Branson’s Necker Island. It sure would be nice to spend some time there but that wont be happening any time soon…Now another famous person has their home available to rent.

Ted Turner, the founder of CNN has opened up his New Mexico home to renters for the absurdly high price of $6,000 per night. I don’t know about you, but I can think of many better ways to spend $6,000 than on a one night home rental.

According to Travel + Leisure, “wildlife enthusiasts and outdoor adventure-types can now stay in one of New Mexico’s most exclusive private homes“. I think they forgot to mention those with lots of disposable income too!

The Ladder Ranch is located on “245 square miles in pristine south-central New Mexico“.

For $6,000 per night, based on four people sharing, you get access to a private chef and house manager. All meals, beverages and guided excursions are also included.

Abundant wildlife on the property includes elk, deer, antelope, mountain lions and bears. You can also see petroglyphs and also visit a ghost town!

So who’s in? I’d love to if the nightly price ever drops! 🙂
