I have to say that I’m pretty excited for our upcoming trip. We leave pretty late tomorrow evening on our trip to the Middle East Gulf States. Our first stop is Abu Dhabi, UAE and from there we’ll visit three more countries as well as more of the UAE at the end.
Most of our plans are done but we have a few more details to tie-up which shouldn’t be too bad. Packing usually gets done around here at the earliest, the day before a trip so we’re right on schedule with that…I decided last-minute to splurge and pick up a guide book. My guess is that most of you don’t bother anymore with books but I still like to turn some pages and get some ideas about a trip from a book.
The main focus this past week has been finishing planning this trip so that’s been the biggest thing going on around here in terms of all things travel…
On that note, now it’s time to take a look back at some of this past week’s posts in a recap that I like to call The Rehash!
I didn’t know that this kind of title actually existed. Find out about the world’s #1 traveler.
Wyndham Rewards sends a gift. I wonder if any of you got this too?
If you happen to be visiting New York City, you might want to make your way to Brooklyn for at least a half day. At least go to Brooklyn Bridge Park for those views…
There are some interesting new SPG credit card benefits + Increased 30K sign up offers. How do you feel about the new additions?
If you love tennis and will be in NY for the Grand Slam then you should reserve your spot at the Chase Lounge at the US Open.
This is definitely an interesting topic/ debate. Check out an interesting question about bear attacks in the wild. The Yellowstone grizzly that killed the hiker has been put down.
Making an offer to upgrade to Etihad Biz Class. Is it worth it? I’m not interested in paying more money for a half day of comfort. How do you feel about this?
I cant wait to check this out when it opens. Too bad it won’t be for a few years. NYC’s tallest observation deck coming to Hudson Yards.
Did I get a retention offer? I closed my last Citi AA Executive Card.
That’s all I’ve got! Hope you all have a great week…
