Back in May I wrote about Amazon Prime becoming JetBlue’s newest inflight entertainment option.
This was a great addition for those with Amazon Prime accounts, adding even more choices to the airline’s offering of free DIRECTV and (free) FlyFi internet service.
With all of these options, I find it hard that anyone could be bored during a JetBlue flight!
Well now JetBlue has added another way to be entertained during a flight and it’s sure to make sports fans very happy!
JetBlue will now be offering MLBTV, a service that usually requires a paid subscription for free during flights!
For those of you that don’t know, I’m a big baseball fan so I think this is great news. It was also a bit random that I happened to post a review earlier today about an awesome book about food at baseball stadiums called The Joy of Ballpark Food.
JetBlue’s new agreement is with MLBAM, (according to the press release) “the interactive media and internet company of Major League Baseball“.
This agreement will give JetBlue flyers free access during flights to MLB.TV, “the #1 live streaming sports service“.
MLB.TV will be viewable during flights on laptops and supported smartphones and tablets through the MLB.com At Bat mobile app.
It sounds like you’ll never have to miss a baseball game again while flying with JetBlue!
