This has been an amazing week of travel so far for Kim, Lucas and I.
We headed out on a long journey (3 flights) to get us to Myanmar (Burma), a destination I’ve long wanted to visit. We’re done with our first city, which is probably the least exciting of the four that we’ll visit and I’m definitely hooked.
With internet service pretty spotty, my plan has been to get a post out at least once per day. So far I’ve met that goal by planning ahead and scheduling some posts in advance…. It’s tough work being a travel blogger at times but something that I just love doing!
I hope that all of you are having a good start to your holiday. And now it’s time to take a look back at some of this weeks posts (a bit less than usual) in a recap that I like to call, The Rehash!
This is pretty impressive: JetBlue is one of the top 25 places to work.
I was a bit surprised when I went to pay my US Airways Mastercard bill to see that I paid my AAdvantage Aviator Red Mastercard bill?
I wonder if this would make Richard Branson want to laugh or cry? Inaugural flight cancelled due to water cannon salute gone wrong.
Last week I wrote Hey British Airways, where are my Avios? I then found out that Avios that went adios would be re-credited. And then they were back, British Airways Avios return. Many feel that British Airways handled this situation poorly when it came to communicating with us. British Airways e-mailed about hack just a few days late.
Here was a good one for April Fool’s Day- Virgin America opening airport lounge for pets.
I’m a big fan of Airbnb. They offer a variety of interesting and different places to stay like sleeping in pubs.
IHG, thanks for letting me know that my annual anniversary free night will be crediting to my account soon.
On that note, I hope that everyone has a great week. If you’re traveling over the holidays, be safe. Make sure to keep checking back for daily new posts here at Michael W Travels!
