Earlier in the year I wrote about how Southwest was selling reusable car seat/ stroller bags. If you’re worried about your stroller or car seat getting messed up while in transit, the bag seems to be a pretty good deal at just $15.
During our first couple of flights with Lucas, we put his stroller into a bag to keep it from getting dirty or ruined. However, we found it to be a big pain and not worth the effort. Since then his stroller has made it out safely after all of our flights. (Find out where Lucas has flown up until turning 2 this past January.)
Well enough about Southwest’s car seat/ stroller bags (and me bragging about Lucas).
I came across what could be a very useful item for some of you from Southwest.
Do you or have you thought about traveling with your pet? Even if you don’t fly with your pet, maybe you’re in the market for a pet carrier?
Southwest is selling a stylish Pet Carrier with its logo embroidered onto the bag.
Since Kim and I don’t have a pet this is of no use to us but it does look like a pretty nice bag.
The bag comes in black and has “durable mesh on the top, sides, front, and back for ventilation. Includes carry on handle at the top of the carrier, as well as a shoulder strap. Opens from the top.”
This item will only come in handy for those of you with a small cat or dog. The fully open dimensions are 18.5″ L x 13.5″ w x 8.5 h. It also expands at the top to add an additional 2 inches of space! The bag can hold up to 18 lbs so if you have a really chubby dog it might be best to look at other bags.
If you’re interested in purchasing a Southwest Pet Carrier, they cost $43 and you can purchase one here.
