At the end of May one of the best credit card hotel perks came to an end.

When it was announced that the Club Carlson’s 2nd night free benefit was ending, many of us were in a mad dash- to try to spend our points the best way possible to take advantage before the benefit ended.

I initially redeemed 304,000 points on a variety of future trips. I then used an additional 176,000 points on three additional stays.

Switched Flights & A Broken Stroller, Thanks American Airlines

Our recent flight to Grenada was one of the odder ones that we’ve been on in quite some time.

When I originally booked our award flight with AAdvantage miles, the only award availability had us flying from New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) to Philadelphia. We then had a tight connection for our next flight to Miami where we’d have an almost three-hour layover before flying to Grenada.

JetBlue Launched Service To New Caribbean Destination Today

JetBlue launched service earlier today to a new Caribbean destination which I found to be quite interesting.

The airline began flying its twice-weekly service to Grenada’s Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND) from New York’s JFK.

With the addition of Grenada, JetBlue “now offers up to 152 daily flights from the U.S. to Latin America and the Caribbean, of which up to 61 daily flights are nonstop from New York JFK and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)” according to the JetBlue press release that I received. Man Sues For Being Sent To Grenada, Not Granada

A Bethesda, Maryland dentist is suing British Airways for sending him to the wrong destination.

The man had planned a trip to Portugal for a conference  and figured stopping in Granada, Spain along the way to do some sightseeing would be a great plan.
