Uber’s has had a tough go in the news recently.

CEO Travis Kalanick was caught on camera having a verbal fight with a driver. He’s since apologized. Uber’s also been investigating sexual harassment claims by a former employee.

Now an Uber exec has resigned due to sexual contact with another employee.

Ed Baker, the VP of Growth stepped down after “an anonymous email notified investigators and media outlets that he had sexual contact with another Uber employee,” according to Mashable.

Baker is the first high ranking Uber exec to leave since the company started an investigation due to “allegations about sexism and harassment within Uber’s ranks“.

Arianna Huffington is currently helping to run the investigation. The sexual harassment concerns came about when former employee, Susan Fowler Rigetti wrote about her experience as an engineer at Uber in a blog post. Since her post other employees have shared similar allegations.

I wonder what kind of long-term consequences sexual harassment claims could have for Uber.
