Donald Trump Being Added To Disney’s Presidents Attraction

Earlier in the week, the US elected a new president. The winner has caused much debate and lots of negative feelings but we’re not here to talk about politics…

We recently took a look back at a post: Does President-elect Donald Trump have a better plane than Air Force One.

While I’m not much of a fan of theme parks, Disney ranks as the most visited park in the word. Well now Donald Trump will be getting his place in the park.

Disney’s CEO Robert Iger told investors that Disney World will be adding a new figure to it’s “iconic” Hall of Presidents attraction- the President- elect Donald Trump.

FOX News reports that Iger said “I will say on the smooth transitions front, we are going through a smooth transition as well. We have already prepared a bust of President-elect Trump to go into our Hall of the Presidents at Disney World.”

The attraction first opened in 1971 in Liberty Square and “features animatronic figures of every U.S. president from George Washington to Obama“.

Disney posted an closure notice online which said the Hall of Presidents would be closed for refurbishment from January 19 through June 29, 2017. (This seems like an extremely long time. My guess is that the article has a typo and it will really be closed until 1/29.)

It’s expected that during the closure Donald Trump will be added.

    1. Superb… well said sir. Those dirtbag Trump supporters don’t like political correctness but when I exercise the same privilege by saying Trump is the biggest danger to the planet in our lifetimes, they get all precious and angry.

This country is a huge huge embarrassment to the world right now. This is a travel blog and supposedly about the world. The world hates us right now for electing that know nothing POS. Take that to the bank, conservative ignorant people.

  1. Dave Taube- What exactly are you boycotting? Disney didn’t say they were for or against Trump. They’ll be adding him to their Hall of Presidents attraction. This does make sense since he will be the 45th President of the US and every other President is represented in the exhibit.

Andy- Everyone has their own opinion regarding politics and this is certainly not a political blog. I won’t be getting into any political debates here… Both candidates were pretty crappy and one had to win. I think the country will survive and move forward (or at least I hope so.)
