There are lots of way to stay in contact or just simply connect with others online. We can use Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp and more.
I use Facebook Messengers from time to time to stay in touch with friends over-seas and even some at home. Besides using messenger I can’t say that I’m a frequent visitor to Facebook.
The TSA has decided to start using Facebook Messenger as a way to help flyers out.
AskTSA on Facebook is now a way to ask the TSA questions.
Maybe you have something to ask about an upcoming flight? Maybe you’re unsure if a certain item can go in your carry-on bag or if it could even be checked. AskTSA on Facebook Messenger can be a useful tool to get an answer to the things you’re unsure about.
You can use this feature from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET on weekdays, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
To reach out to the TSA through Facebook Messenger you can search for @AskTSA on Facebook or Messenger.
If you go to their Facebook page, then all you need to do is click message under the cover photo or click the link from their post from July 7. If you search for AskTSA on Facebook Messenger, the account will come right up. Just click on it and you can then send your message.
Do you feel being able to reach out to the TSA through Facebook Messenger is helpful or not so useful? I think it sounds like an interesting idea.
Dont even bother. The service is not working. I asked them a simple question and didnt got any response in month. We should no longer promote this. Same is true for twitter (asktsa)
