What Kind of Traveler Are You? Take the Quiz

Marriott is taking a page from Buzzfeed’s book by offering a quiz to Find Out What Kind of Traveler You Are.

When I came across this quiz from Marriott I was really surprised by what I was saw. If I didn’t know better, I would’ve thought that I was on Buzzfeed.

Marriott’s quiz has 11 multiple choice questions. For some of them I was wondering why they didn’t include a “none of the above” option to choose as an answer? Maybe they need to study up on how to write a proper Buzzfeed- style quiz!

Here are a few of my favorite questions:

Here is what I got:

An Extreme Globetrotter

Bungee jumping in Brazil, swimming with the sharks in Mexico or hopping on a bi-plane in Palm Beach: All sound like totally viable (and invigorating!) travel activities to you. You’re a free spirit, that’s for sure. Very little ruffles your feathers and you’re keen on authentic experiences. Your taste for the extreme is insatiable and you soak up all that life has to offer.

LOCATION:Ever considered ghost tours for that much needed adrenaline rush? Visit Edinburgh, Scotland and seek out one of the many supernatural excursions in castles and beyond.

I like the sound of being called an Extreme Globetrotter but I’m not so sure of the extreme part! I’ve done a few things while traveling that might be considered extreme (canyoning in New Zealand, bridge climbs, white water rafting on the White Nile in Uganda etc.) but that’s definitely arbitrary.

I first heard about the Marriott quiz in a short article by Smarter Travel which you can check out here. The article also has a link to the quiz. If you decide to take the quiz let us know what results you get!
