The redemption mentioned above accounted for the bulk of my points, leaving my account with 738 to spare.

In early 2014 there was a promo where I was able to refer friends and earn up to 5,000 AA Business Extra points. I made this offer into a giveaway on my blog and 4/5 winners signed up for an AA Business Extra account.
Then I accidentally let some of my points expire but AA was kind enough to reinstate them for me! By the end of 2015 I once again wondered what I should do with my AA Business Extra points.

Back in January I wrote about some of my American Airlines Business Extra points that had expired.
I had forgotten to redeem some points which were expiring and decided to send an e-mail to AA to try to get them back. It turned out well with my points being reinstated- it didn’t hurt to ask!
With the new year fast approaching, I find myself in a similar position as last year. On December 31, 2015, 1,100 of my AA Business Extra points will expire.

I received an e-mail from American Airline’s AA Business Extra program about an easy way to earn 300 bonus points on my next car rental with Budget.

Back in January I wrote about asking for some points back from American Airlines Business Extra which had recently expired. I was happy to report a positive outcome.
I currently have enough points in my account to claim two domestic flight awards or one flight from the US to Europe or various destinations in Asia.
